Is it safe to build a shower next to a breaker box in your home?

Question by cdhlane1: Is it safe to build a shower next to a breaker box in your home?
We are remodeling our bathroom, and we are going to build a custom tile shower and realized that where we need to make our “wet wall” access panel to the plumbing, right next to it is the back side of our breaker box. Is it still safe to build the shower there?

    Sure, why not?!

When you’re done with that why don’t you run with scissors, smoke while filling up your car at the gas station and jump off your roof to see if you can fly.

    Geeeeeeeeesh!!!!

No problem. Water lines & electric run in the same place all through the house.

NO no no.Anything to do with electrical or water or condensation from the shower just don’t mix. This is Hazzardous.
